About the company
Double Bond Pharmaceutical AB is a Swedish biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative therapies for severe diseases with high unmet medical need, with a primary focus on oncology. The company’s lead development program targets glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive and difficult-to-treat brain tumors. Double Bond Pharmaceutical works at the interface between translational research and clinical development, combining real-world clinical evidence with preparation for future prospective clinical trials and regulatory processes. The company collaborates with international clinical partners and academic researchers to generate evidence supporting further development and commercialization of novel therapeutic approaches.
The project
This postdoc-level internship focuses on retrospective real-world data analysis of glioblastoma patients treated with analogues of a novel local therapy. The dataset includes approximately 160 treated patients and around 300 control patients, with detailed clinical data, laboratory results, imaging-based assessments, and survival outcomes from routine clinical practice in Belarus. The main objective is to generate scientifically robust evidence to support ongoing scientific publications and further clinical development. The longer-term aim is to contribute to 1–2 peer-reviewed scientific papers. While the full publication process is not expected to be completed within the internship period, the postdoc will be offered a meaningful scientific contribution and co-authorship based on their work. The work will include hypothesis generation, analytical study design, real-world data management, performance of statistical analyses, structured literature reviews, and report writing, as well as scientific interpretation of results.
