Internship offer: Clinical studies support for vocal biomarkers

About the company

Virtuosis AI is a Swiss EPFL spin-off developing AI-powered vocal biomarkers for over 25 health conditions from a 30-second audio recording. Our CE-marked (Class I) technology focuses on early- stage detection of mental, cognitive, respiratory, and cardiometabolic disorders, and is deployed in hospitals, enterprises, elderly care homes, and telemedicine platforms across multiple continents.

The project

The intern will support Virtuosis AI's clinical team in the preparation and execution of clinical studies required for the company's Class IIa medical device pathway. The project bridges clinical research and computational health.

Expected outcomes:

•  Gain insights into the biological pathways underlying voice biomarkers and how they relate to clinical endpoints.
•  Develop a practical understanding of SaMD regulatory
•  Contribute to the design of clinical study protocols, including data collection
•  Assist in preparing and reviewing submissions to ethics committees and regulatory
•  Draft internal reports summarizing processes and
•  Contribute to data analysis pipelines and AI model training and

Location: Virtuosis AI, Lausanne/Geneva, Switzerland (hybrid possible). Time period: 1-3 months, full-time. Preferred start: flexible.

The candidate

•  Strong communication and scientific writing
•  Familiarity with the rigor of clinical
