Position: Translational Medicine & Business Development Intern
Guided by Chief Executive Officer: Parvin Kumar Ph.D
Objectives : Driving Partnerships, Grants, and Product Development in Translational Medicine
This internship will focus on building strategic partnerships and collaborative consortia with key academic institutions, biopharma companies, and other stakeholders in the translational research space. The intern will work with leadership to identify and pursue grant opportunities that align with the company’s mission and help grow the platform.
Additionally, the intern will maintain the company’s social media presence to engage with the broader scientific and business communities. They will also be involved in providing translational medicine insights, advising the product team on how the platform can better serve the needs of the medical and research communities.
Intended Outcomes
A set of strategic partnerships and collaborative consortia formed to support product development and grant acquisition. Research for grant proposals/applications for relevant funding opportunities submitted or prepared for submission. Active engagement and growth of social media presence to boost company visibility in the translational medicine and biotech spaces. Insight reports that provide guidance on how translational medicine and research trends can inform product design and roadmap. Documentation of business development activities and tracking progress towards key milestones.
Desired Skills
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in translational medicine—particularly in the translatability of preclinical research—and an interest in the business development side of biotech. Experience with grant writing, partnership development, and working with academic and industry stakeholders is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills, experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.), and a keen interest in the intersection of science, business, and technology.
