    healthcare databases.
  • Assist in data cleaning and preprocessing to prepare for integration into the R-Shiny
    application.

Week 3: Application Development

  • Actively contribute to the development of the R-Shiny application, focusing on UI design
    and backend logic.
  • Implement key health economic models, such as cost-effectiveness analysis, within the
    application.
  • Ensure the application meets the client’s specific needs and is user-friendly.

Week 4: Testing, Validation, and Client Presentation

  • Assist in preparing and delivering a presentation of the final product to the client,
    gathering feedback for potential improvements.
  • Reflect on the internship experience and document the project’s development process,
    challenges, and outcomes.

Expected Outcomes: By the end of the 4-week internship, the intern will have developed a real-world R-Shiny application, gained in-depth knowledge of health economics and RWD, and contributed to a project with direct client impact.
