About the organization

Moligo Technologies is a biotech company with the mission to enable gene therapies and technologies through the synthesis of single-stranded DNA molecules with unprecedented purity, length and complexity. Currently, we are mostly working with US-based biotech and pharma companies and universities involved in gene editing technologies and viral free gene therapies.

The project

Long, double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) molecules are an essential component for synthetic biology research. Nowadays, DNA synthesis companies struggle to deliver complex and/or long sequences. The current process of creating long dsDNA is complex and poses challenges that have so far prevented the achievement of rapid, precise DNA synthesis.

The candidate will work on new strategies for the synthesis of complex dsDNA sequences, which are in increasing demanding in synthetic biology. This project offers opportunities for collaboration with leading companies and academic institutions across the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Location: Solna

Time period : Any time between December 2025-May 2026 (Full time)

The candidate

The ideal candidate has a strong molecular biology background, with extensive experience in DNA or RNA synthesis or biology. Alternatively, the candidate should have background as nucleic acid chemist.
