About the company 

Scientify Research Solutions AB is a Stockholm-based startup dedicated to connecting researchers with research funding. Our vision is for a world where the most promising research ideas are funded. The company was founded by two professionals with more than 20 years of experience in academic publishing and research support. Founder, Judy Mielke, PhD, was a 2025 recipient of the Women Tech EU Award. We collaborate with an international team and collaborators who share a commitment to strengthening the global research ecosystem. 

The project and role: Digital Storyteller (Funder Perspectives) 

At scientifyRESEARCH, collaboration and knowledge-sharing are central to how we work. We are seeking a motivated academic to join our team as a Digital Storyteller, contributing to our Funder Perspectives series. In this role, you will help shape and produce interviews with research funders from around the world, highlighting their funding priorities, strategic goals, and support mechanisms for researchers. These interviews are published in the News and Perspectives section of our website and are widely used by researchers to better understand the funding landscape. The significance of these interviews is to initiate longer term business partnerships as we grow our funder membership program, directly contributing to our business development initiatives with research funders. This position is well suited to researchers who enjoy writing, synthesis, and dialogue across academic and institutional boundaries with an interest in gaining insight into how research funding works internationally.

Location: Innovation Station | Alfred Nobels allé 5 | Stockholm | Sweden or hybrid working

Time period: flexible within the guidelines of the KI program

The candidate

You should have the following skills, or you have a keen interest to develop these skills with us:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in research funding organizations and science policy contexts
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet agreed timelines using a CRM
• An inquisitive, reflective, and journalistic approach to interviews and storytelling
• Interest in building long-term professional relationships with research funders and partners

This role offers exposure to the international research funding landscape and the opportunity to develop transferable skills in science communication, stakeholder engagement and business development.
