About the company

Teslasuit is a deep-tech company developing a full-body, human-to-digital interface that enables direct interaction between the human body and digital environments. The platform combines full-body haptics, motion capture, and biometric sensing into a single wearable system. Teslasuit technology is used in research, immersive training, rehabilitation, and human-computer interaction, enabling embodied interaction and high-resolution capture of human behavior in naturalistic and experimental settings. The company collaborates with academic and clinical partners to translate advanced wearable technologies into scientifically grounded applications in neuroscience, psychology, and digital health.

The project

We are offering a research internship focused on the software integration and data analysis challenges that arise when combining cutting-edge wearable technologies with psychological research questions. The project centers on integrating the Teslasuit full-body haptic suit with 3D visual tracking systems to compute and analyze gaze vectors in three-dimensional space.

A key aspect of the internship is the development of software pipelines for synchronizing, processing, and analyzing multimodal data (e.g., gaze, motion, and haptic signals) to support research on social attention. From a psychological perspective, the work emphasizes translating complex sensor data into meaningful behavioral measures. In the longer term, these methods aim to support objective, embodied assessments of social attention, with potential relevance for understanding gaze behavior in ecological settings and informing future neuropsychological and therapeutic applications.
