Project description for KI Internship VT 2025 | PhD internship 

Project Description 

Ebba Biotech AB offers a 1-month full-time internship for a PhD student within the KI Careers programme ‘Internship projects for PhD Students’. The successful candidate will get hands-on experience within the biotech industry and learn how to cater pitches and marketing material within the Life Sciences. 

In addition to the sales and marketing efforts, candidates will get to be part of the ongoing Product Development projects from our office in Solna. This project will entail producing and testing formulations of our products in accordance with customer demands as well as preparing product documentation. 

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced start-up environment in close association to our scientific collaborators. A motivated and determined individual will find that it will be easy to get involved in many aspects of our daily operation, where we focus on collaboration and development of both the business and science skills. 

About the Researcher candidate 

You are a curious, driven and determined individual with scientific understanding and insights in neuroscience and/or microbiology. If you feel strongly about driving science forward to create value for society, you will fit well into our team. You should have an eye for detail, be experienced in lab-work and have a talent for expressing science in an easily understandable and accurate manner.

Ebba Biotech AB was founded in 2016 by professor Agneta Richter-Dahlfors as a spin off from Karolinska Institutet. We have commercialised optotracer molecules for use in neuroscience, microbiology, and plant/material science. This is the result of many years of cutting-edge nanoscience and organic chemistry research.
