About the company
Ebba Biotech AB was founded in 2016 by professor Agneta Richter-Dahlfors as a spin off from Karolinska Institutet, KTH and Linköping University. We have commercialised optotracer molecules for use in protein aggregation microbiology, and plant/material science. This is the result of many years of cutting-edge nanoscience and organic chemistry research. From the office located in Karolinska Institutet Science Park in Solna, we sell and deliver the many variants of purpose- built optotracers to research laboratories, hospitals, and industry worldwide.

Project Description 

Ebba Biotech AB offers a 1-month full-time internship for a PhD student within the KI Careers programme. The candidate will get hands on experience on working in a start up within the biotech industry. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in our ongoing marketing and sales efforts, as well as ongoing Product Development projects from our office in Solna. A motivated and determined individual will find that it will be easy to get involved in many aspects of our daily operation, where we focus on collaboration and development of both the business and science skills.

About the candidate

You are a curious, driven and determined individual with scientific understanding and preferably have insight into any of our research fields. You should have an eye for detail, be experienced in lab-work and have a talent for expressing science in an easily understandable and accurate manner.
