Target group: Postdocs and Researchers

Position: Implementation of scRNAseq tools in Cancer Drug Discovery Research in an industrial setting

Are you passionate about cutting-edge research and eager to make a difference in the fight against cancer? Join us in our industrial setting, where you'll be responsible for implementing the use of bioinformatic tools in cancer biology that accelerate cancer therapy solutions.

The tumor microenvironment is an intricated milieu where a diversity of cells and the landscape around them determine tumor progression and malignancy. Recently developed technical and analytical advances allow for deep insight into these complex systems, revealing unexplored biology that opens for new therapeutic possibilities in the fight against cancer.

In your role, and working close to our project teams, you'll implement a platform oriented to interrogate single cell data to help progression of our drug discovery pipeline. More specifically, using publicly available bioinformatic tools and resources, or developing your own, you will help us deepen our understanding of target biology, the discover of biomarkers, choice of most relevant cancer models and contribute with key data that increase translational value to the clinical phase.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation in our discovery pipeline of single cell workflows to study cancer biology in unprecedented detail.
  • Access to publicly available datasets and tools to identify actionable insights that can accelerate therapeutic development.
  • Exploring new ways to link single cell data with clinical outcomes to better inform patient care strategies.

This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical, result-driven environment. You’ll be allowed to work within the pharmaceutical industry, close to projects and individuals, learning about all stages of the pre-clinical drug discovery process.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a background in bioinformatics or related disciplines. Previous experience in single-cell data curation and analysis would be a plus. Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a drive to impact cancer research are essential.

If you're ready to transform your skills into life-changing solutions, apply now and take the first step toward a meaningful career on cancer therapeutics.
