Internship in Parexel Real World Data (RWD) Strategy

We are interested in recruiting an intern to our growing EU/Canada RWD Strategy team. The successful candidate will have ample opportunities to build on their knowledge of the RWD and applications in clinical development. Moreover, the candidate will gain various skills required to work in a cross-functional environment within one the largest contract research organizations (CRO).

Target group

This project is intended for postdocs and researchers for a duration of 3 months.

About the company 

Parexel supports the development of innovative therapies to improve patient health and help biopharmaceutical clients transform scientific discoveries into new treatments. Our RWD team supports various internal and external stakeholders in using RWD to support various stages of clinical development.

The project 

Real world data (RWD) has a very broad definition that covers various types of sources that collect healthcare information in various settings of a patient journey. RWD sources include, but not limited to electronic health records, health insurance claims, administrative healthcare databases, patient registries, surveys etc.

Our team’s responsibilities are centered around finding and assessing various types of RWD sources with the aim to support the business with fit-for-purpose data.  The successful candidate will have an opportunity to support the team in various day-to-day activities. Specifically, the candidate will support landscaping and appraising various RWD sources across Europe and Canada. Additionally, the candidate will attend and participate in cross functional meetings and activities.

This project will  provide the successful candidates a unique opportunity to work in a global team advancing clinical development via various sources of RWD.

 

The candidate 

The successful candidate must be well organized with excellent oral and written communication skills in addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with international healthcare setup and knowledge of multiple European languages is a merit.
