We provide integrated scientific expertise to help pharmaceutical companies generate the evidence needed throughout the drug development life cycle up and beyond the market access. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the Data Analytics team a successful research team in generating real-world evidence through analysis of existing data and to help define and drive solutions for clients and patients!

The project – What we offer?

As an intern you will have the opportunity to support the team across a different range of projects, focusing on the design of observational studies using a range of real-world data sources and synthetizing results from such analyses. Types of studies the intern may be involved are effectiveness and safety studies, description of the burden of a disease or analyses of treatment patterns. In addition, the candidate may support one of the several internal initiatives around internal knowledge sharing and availability and uses of different real-world data sources around the globe. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading experts in pharmacepidemiology, HEOR, and biostats, and get insights into the various career paths in the consulting industry. 

Location: The candidate will be based in our Evidera, PPD office location in Stockholm, Sweden where 8 team members work. The rest of Data Analytics team is a global team with staff in North America, Europe, the UK and China.

Time period: September – November 2023, 3 months preferably on a full-time basis but open to part-time as well

The candidate

The successful candidate will have a PhD in the fields of epidemiology or biostatistics, and applied experienced in quantitative methods in epidemiology with a focus on analysis using real-world observational data, good understanding of relevant methodology and statistics.
