Postdoc secondment Antibiotic resistance (2-3 months)

Organisation
The Swedish Research Council (SRC; Vetenskapsrådet) is Sweden’s largest governmental research funding body, and supports research and research infrastructure in all scientific fields. The SRC also functions as research policy advisor to the Government and works on the long-term expansion
of knowledge by analysis, strategy and monitoring of research and research funding. The SRC represents Sweden in numerous trans-national collaborations and international research calls. (see www.vr.se )

The SRC is managing the National Research Programme on Antibiotic Resistance (NFPABR). The programme is supporting and coordinating ABR reseaerch in Sweden through research calls and other activities in collaboration with other funders and stakeholders. 

Description of project
The NFPABR will be updating its strategic research agenda in 2023. This project includes two parts: The first part will be analysis of results from a survey on knowledge gaps in the ABR field and eventually support for the consultations with reference groups with participation of scientists,
representatives from health care, industry, agriculture and other
stakeholders. The second part of the project involve analysis of AMR research and AMR funding. Results from the analysis will be used to update the strategic research agenda. The intern may also design and produce information material, web content and internal reports. 

Requested qualifications of applicant
• Strong background in biology with knowledge of microbiology and/or infectious diseases
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis is an advantage
• Fluency in Swedish required
