About the company
In today's healthcare landscape, the absence of true personalized medicine is evident, as the current system relies on outdated practices. Medication dosing in the pharmaceutical industry often hinges on generic group-level metrics, neglecting the crucial aspect that patients require individualized treatments. Studies show that only 45% of cancer patients receive an optimal dose. The rest are either over or under-treated: overtreatment leads to toxicities and interruption of effective cancer treatment, thereby decreasing patient outcomes, health status, and quality of life, while undertreatment results in reduced efficacy and increased risk of disease progression. Blood collection poses one of the biggest challenges for tailored treatments. True Dose addresses this gap by developing convenient at-home blood sampling technology, thereby ensuring better patient outcomes.
