About the company 

We are a small fast-growing consultancy company specializing in health data science and real-world evidence to support drug development and patient access to medical innovations. Our clients are international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. We work across all phases of drug development; from early drug discovery to post-marketing authorization studies with R&D, market access, health economics and medical affairs teams, in close collaboration with academic institutions. 

The project 

The intern will be part of a dedicated and experienced research team consisting of clinical, statistical and epidemiological experts. The main tasks will be to develop observational study protocols, perform feasibility assessments for future studies and scientific writing. The intern will learn scientific project management in a small start-up company environment, while at the same time being exposed to different aspects of new business development, epidemiological studies and drug development. The studies are based on clinical and health economic outcomes data (real-world data) mainly within the field of oncology and immunology. 

Location: Stockholm 

Period: Full time or part-time in May-Dec 2024 

The candidate 

Ph.D. or Ph.D. student in biostatistics, epidemiology, molecular biology or similar. The intern will ideally have some experience in observational studies. The intern must be able to work independently and have a flexible, self-driven and collaborative mindset.  Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) are important.
