CHIESI

                         Chiesi Global Rare Diseases, R&D 

 

Target group: Postdocs and researchers (3 months) 

 

At  Chiesi Global Rare Diseases located in Solna, we focus on developing biologic products that help addressing the unique needs of patients with rare diseases. We believe that no patient should be left behind. Three new rare disease drugs developed by Chiesi were approved in 2023 by the FDA.  

Our team functions at the Solna site include early research, pre-clinical, CMC disciplines. We present opportunities to join the team in Solna to work on early drug development, for rare diseases.  

  • This internship focuses on helping us develop our knowledge and strategic functions within rare disease areas 
  • Experience in In silico methods to cluster and map pathways, identify mechanisms of action, druggable targets etc is needed 
  • Experience in or knowledge of CRISPER/Cas and other gene editing strategies with applications in gene therapy is appreciated 
  • Knowledge of metabolic or neurodegenerative rare diseases is a plus.
